What does this picture bring to mind?

After a busy weekend, it's back to the grind stone. I didn't achieve much last week, so there's a fair bit to catch up on this week. Hopefully it will be a better week for me.

So, with that in mind, here is what my week holds:

• Try to finish the book I've been reading for ages.
• Carry on reading and ARC. One of 3 that arrived last week.

Well, after the excitement of last week, it's back to work this week.

Excitement, you ask. Well, on Friday I had the pleasure of meeting a writer friend. A trip to London and a lovely lunch and chat. It was a lovely break.Unfortunately, the day was spoilt by us having to catch some escapee pigs. But, anyway, it's a new week with new challenges, so my plans for this week are:

Another new day, and another new week. It will be busy. It's halfterm here, so there is no education centre this week. I can hopefully catch up on some of my writing stuff.

After a busy weekend, sorting my office area, I'm planning to get some good writing time this week. The office is not finished yet, but there's an improvement.

So, what does my week look like?

• I must get down to some serious study.
• I have some stories to critique.

They say the older you get the quicker the days go by. I'm beginning to beleieve that. It's already the start of another new week. I've had a fairly good weekend. Decided to take a break for most of the weekend - well a break from writing anyway. As I type this, a day early, I'm watching some new chicks hatch. In fact, one has just come out of the shell. It's fascinating, and you can't help feeling sorry for that little thing having to work so hard to break through the she...

I was talking to someone the other day and we got on to the subject of how fast the year is going. We are already half way through May, and thinking about it, almost half way through the year.

My writing life hasn't gone too well so far this year, but I'm slowly making progress. I can still meet all my goals. I know I can.

So, what does this week hold in store for me?

• I need to finish reading my book, still.
• I need to revise a story.

It's a holiday here as I write this. But, there is still work to be done, so the holiday will have to wait. I have a lot of writing to catch up on. My computer was in for repair for the second time in three months. That in itself wasn't a problem. It just seemed that the repair would take a few hours at the most, and I would have my computer back the same day. Well, it wasn't to be. So, with no computer, there was no writing. All my work was on said computer.
